Welcome, 2014!

Happy New Year, mate! I don’t know why every New Year I always have this urge to write a blog maybe because of the thought that every New Year is a new start and with new starts you have to get up and move.

Speaking of new starts, New Year's Resolutions or New Year Plans should be made which I’m sure isn't new to our ears.

But before I share my New Year's Resolutions, I would like to share a short story of how I realized in a quick moment that your life is really in your control. The past few years I've been “going with the flow” of what’s happening every day, I don’t make things big and extraordinary even if I wanted to. I always say God or Destiny is making all these things happen; I am positive and I do cool stuff once in a while but I realized I don’t do things that can occupy the bigger picture, like things that can somehow lead me to what I really want in the near future.

I came across this picture in Facebook, I was so astonished because I never really thought New Year's Resolutions can be really accomplished throughout the year, I never thought it was possible!  She accomplished all of it and who would have thought in that simple yet meaningful photo of hers would actually make my eyes open.  So I really salute this friend of mine, whom is so bright, modest and gleeful.

I've been reading books, articles, watching documentaries about positive outlooks and positive outcomes like Law of Attraction and Purpose Driven Life. You make different choices every day and the universe responds to all of it. Everything you think of, say, feel and do are what builds you and what you’ll become in the future, no matter how simple or gigantic that thought or feeling is it will all reflect on your personality and your future. Like the picture above, she got up and wrote plans to keep her moving on the brand new year, she wasn't scared to fail and wrote all what she wanted to accomplish/happen in 2013 and now she proudly proclaimed that she accomplished all of it, that’s just a simple list but for me that piece of paper guided her to invent her future.
